In 2024, the DeepFakeAI team made leaps and bounds, from releasing our Zero-Shot Model to revamping our bots system, to releasing our Explore tab. Now that January has come and gone, let’s take a look at what our team has already accomplished in the new year!
Multilingual Support
In one of the greatest advancements yet, we’ve released our first new language in our rollout of multilingual support. You can now create clips using DeepFakeAI in German, expanding potential audiences across the globe!
By utilizing large-scale training and phoneme analysis, the team has implemented a method of language training that applies to already existing characters in the DeepFakeAI character pool. This means that even characters trained in English will retain their vocal characteristics – and even accents – when speaking in a different language. Languages will be rolled out one-by-one as the team continues their work, allowing each language to be fine-tuned prior to release.

Professional Voice Cloning
At long last, we have released our Professional Voice Cloning feature. Available alongside our Zero-Shot Model, Professional Voice Cloning allows users to train new characters in finer detail for a more realistic, personalized result. Here’s a run-down of the differences:

Updated Bots System
Last but certainly not least is the improvements to the Bots portion of our service. For the past year, we have made numerous improvements to our Telegram Bots system, letting users create their own bots to have instant access to fun deepfakes on their servers and group chats. Now, we’ve released two big features that will make using bots with DeepFakeAI even more powerful!
Discord Bots
Telegram bots have been a core feature of DeepFakeAI since the beginning, giving users quick access to fun clips to make their friends laugh. Now we’ve extended that opportunity to Discord users, allowing them to access to all the features of DeepFakeAI right in your servers! This new feature is available in the Bots tab of our web app, for all users to enjoy! Just keep your account stocked up with minutes, and your users will delight in seeing their ideas go from text to clip in a matter of seconds!
Whitelists
We also recognized that you may not want every user to have access to your bots. You may want to keep random users from spamming your server with clips, or monetize the bots use. That’s why we’ve implemented a whitelist system, where you can decide exactly who has access to your bots. This feature is also available in the Bots tab, so feel free to turn it on and prevent those pesky spammers from using up all your minutes!

Already we’ve accomplished a lot this year, hitting the ground running as we continue to grow and improve the service. In the coming year, you can expect a steady increase in quality as we continue to train our models, more languages as we expand our library, and more characters as our community continues to expand our Explore tab!
